As part of this initiative, Oaklee is proud to have been awarded an additional €20,000 in Housing Finance Agency funding to support an Oaklee community development process over a 12-month period at a 50-unit apartment complex in Athy, Co Kildare.
With the support of this award from the Social Investment Fund, Oaklee will deliver a range of initiatives to help engage residents of all ages in positive community-building activities such as fun day events and the establishment of community groups.
Commenting on the funding, Sharon Cosgrove Oaklee CEO said “Oaklee is delighted to receive an additional €20,000 to support the delivery of community-building initiatives at the Harbour development in Athy. This significant investment will allow Oaklee residents to benefit from environmental and biodiversity initiatives and allows Oaklee to continue delivering sustainable communities. We are proud to work with the Housing Finance Agency and Social Investment Fund to provide these initiatives.”
