Oaklee to manage 50 new homes at Avourwen development in Drogheda

Oaklee is progressing the delivery of 50 new homes at the Avourwen residential development in Drogheda, as part of a major mixed‑tenure scheme being delivered in partnership with Manley Homes and supported by Home Building Finance Ireland (HBFI).

Oaklee was represented on site by Ciarán O’Hagan, Project Manager, who attended a recent site visit and met with project partners to discuss progress on the delivery of Oaklee’s homes. The visit coincided with a milestone moment for the wider development, which was marked by a visit from the Tánaiste and Minister for Finance, Simon Harris TD.

The Avourwen scheme has already delivered more than 400 homes, with further homes under construction and planned. Oaklee’s homes form part of the next phase of delivery, with handover expected later this year.

Speaking about the project, Sharon Cosgrove, CEO of Oaklee, said:

“Developments like Avourwen demonstrate the importance of partnership in delivering homes at scale. Oaklee is pleased to be progressing 50 new homes as part of this mixed‑tenure scheme, contributing to the supply of high‑quality homes and the creation of a strong, sustainable community in Drogheda.”

The Avourwen development brings together private, social and affordable housing within a single integrated community and highlights the role of collaboration between Government, the private sector, local authorities and Approved Housing Bodies in responding to housing need.

Oaklee looks forward to the continued progress of the scheme and to welcoming new residents to their homes at Avourwen later this year.
