Oaklee is pleased to announce that the first residents have begun moving into their new homes at Loreto Gate, a high-quality development delivered in partnership with South Dublin County Council and funded with the support of the Housing Finance Agency.
Located in the heart of Rathfarnham, the scheme provides 37 A‑rated one, two and three‑bed apartments, designed to offer safe, secure and contemporary accommodation for individuals and families in the local community.
Oaklee took ownership of the development in December 2025, completing all commissioning works and pre‑tenancy steps with nominated households. Move‑ins are now underway, with further residents due to arrive over the coming weeks.
A Milestone for Local Housing Delivery
Oaklee CEO Sharon Cosgrove welcomed the first residents, noting:
“We are delighted to welcome new residents to Loreto Gate. These homes represent another important step in our commitment to delivering high-quality, secure and affordable housing in partnership with South Dublin County Council.
Our teams have worked hard to ensure everything was ready for residents to move in safely and comfortably, and it’s wonderful to see families beginning a new chapter here.
With over 460 homes fully secured and contracted for delivery in 2026, Oaklee is looking forward to delivering even more homes for families throughout the rest of this year and into 2027."
A Connected Community Setting
Loreto Gate benefits from excellent public transport connections, local services, schools, and amenities. The development forms part of Oaklee’s ongoing investment in increasing the supply of high‑quality homes across the region.
Oaklee looks forward to supporting residents as they settle into their new homes and to continuing its collaborative work with local authorities and partners to deliver much‑needed housing.
